Lehigh Valley Men's Senior Baseball League player helps to win big in Arizona
November 2007
Dennis Hock, Manger of the 35 Cardinals helped the Paladins 55+ team defeat Fresno, CA for the 55+ American Wood Back Title. Coincidently, Fresno was the only team to beat Paladin throughout the tournament. Paladin was 7 and 1 during the tournament.

Dennis Hock (pictured on left)
The team consisted of players from all around the country. Players from Phoenix, New Mexico, California, Texas, Pa, and New York made up the Paladins. Some of guys played together this past March in the MSBL KICK-OFF CLASSIC in Las Vegas, Dennis included. This team is a real fine example of the comradely that exists amongst fellow baseball players. Dennis pitched the 4th game of pool play against an undefeated Chicago team (3-0) at the time. He allowed 1 unearned run and 3 hits through 7 innings.
The game Dennis pitched the Paladins ended up winning 4-2. Dennis commented that he recognized some of the same players from the Chicago team that knocked out the other Lehigh Valley MSBL 45+ Braves team in that brackets, so he had some extra motivation while pitching against them.
Dennis batted 5th in the order for all 8 games, ended up with 10 hits for the tournament. Played a lot of 1B, DH, and pitched once.
Dennis said "Overall, I'd say it was quite an accomplishment coming together and kicking butt".
Congratulations Dennis!
